  1. My best Valentine's Day gift was my engagement ring when my soulmate proposed to me. Valentine's Day 2001. T

  2. For me, my best Valentine's Day was in 2007, it was the very first one that my husband and I got to spend together when we were dating. He was really sweet and so very shy when we first met. We chose not to go out but instead, we stayed in at his apartment and I cooked dinner for him for the first time. Turned out wonderful!

  3. Well I help my cousin who is a florist in Archdale, so by the time I get home I am so tired. Anyway, when I got home my son Riley ran and gave me an big hug and kiss and said Happy Valentine's Day Mommy, I love You! That was the best for me.(since we celebrate V-day after the fact)

  4. My best Valentine's was two years ago when Patrick sent me flowers at work! It was our first Valentines together since we were dating in high school. Loved it!

  5. Best Valentine's gift was a home cooked meal from my sweet husband. And, a Valentine's card from my sweet baby girl -- that was a pretty good one too!

  6. The most interesting Valentine's was the day I received roses at work, but the card was signed by someone I didn't know. Florist error! It took a few minutes, but finally found out they were from Papa D.

  7. My worst Valentine's was back in high school. I worked at a grocery store in my local town and I was stuck working Valentine's night. When I got off work that night TWO of the boys I worked with showed up. One hid chocolates in my locker (he was very shy) and the other waited around till I clocked out just to tell me not to drive off without paying close attention to my car, then he left. I went out to my car to find a rose and a note stuffed under my windshield wiper. I read the note and it was a confession of his crush on me. I kept smelling something that absolutely burnt my nose. I pulled the note a little closer and sure enough, he had even sprayed it with cologne. Horrible, cheap cologne. I was embarrassed for him. Needless to say, I spent Valentine's alone that year.

  8. About 6 or 7 years ago my husband sent me flowers and a Valentine stuffed animal to my work. Then when I got home I had candy and a card. It was really the sweetest thing!

  9. Feb. 14, 1977 was the anniversary of our first date. John brought me a dozen beautiful roses and we went out for dinner. There have been many Feb. 14th's since then but none can match the first one spent together. Wonder what the 33rd Valentine's Day will bring!

  10. My good friend Matt tried to get this to post but couldn't, so I'm posting for him....

I don't know of any one Valentine's gift better than another. Every day is a great one, knowing I'm loved. Just trying to return that. And I'm way behind.......

  11. Again, my friend Scooter had problems posting so I'm posting for him...

Not really a gift . . But my most memorable Valentine thru all the years is when i had kids and was able to buy them a Valentine from their Daddy and set them on my lap all cuddled up and explain to them what love was . . . It was priceless to me.

  12. When Dale and I were dating, Dale was in the Navy and was out to sea on our 1st Valentines Day. He sent his best friend to get me a dozen roses, chocolates and a card and Chad delivered them to me personally at my condo at UNCC. That was a huge and wonderful surprise!

  13. My best Valentine's Day memory is one year when Ryan was out on a six month deployment, he sent me red, white and pink tulips from the Middle East. Even though he was out of the country, he made sure that Valentine's Day was very special!!!
